THE WOMAN
The sound of The Woman is honest, poetic, gritty, and raw. They portray the world as an ugly, dirty and elusive place where beauty can be found for those who listen. Led by Sheyda Abolfath, the band tells the melodramatic story of modern youngsters. Vocally, lyrically and visually with a distinct mix of alternative music, experimental, art-rock, and an up-front punk attitude, this band creates an intimate atmosphere on stage.

Prom Vagabonds (PV) is the love child of noise-rock, sequins and 90s Brazilian TV shows. We are a yearning quartet, who embrace the cathartic and surreal in performance, and have crafted a sonic universe that feels like a glitter gutter. Between contradictions and extremes, the gutter yields music embraces darkness, dissonance, and intensity with layers of hectic guitars, while the glimmer of glitter embellishes the performance with hypnotic, enthralling rhythms and nostalgic, confessional vocals. After three years of making music together, PV has come to a place where our goal is to express our darkest and most urgent feelings in the most honest way through our music. The soundtrack to a funeral or a wedding, the consistent trait in our music is intensity.

RISE is a project by Maj Rachel and Dominic who perform drone noise and sound art with an occasional addition of poetic lyrics as they feed off each other in their improvisational compositions. Using guitar, synth and pedals, cassette players with field recordings and religious hymns, a mysterious voice, contact mics and various sound objects, RISE fills the room with heavy pressing air and a sense of wonder.
